The company has one director, John Brunsden and two administrators, Khai Pickett and Hien Nguyen.
John founded English Teaching College (ETC), a language school with three campuses; Wellington, Lower Hutt and Palmerston North. ETC has been in business since 1993 and in 2020 had over 300 EFTS, domestic and international. John has a teaching diploma and a MA in International Development from Massey University.
Hien Nguyen works full time for Study and Work New Zealand. Previously Hien worked for the Vietnamese Embassy in Wellington as First Secretary. She has extensive networks with government departments and colleges in Vietnam.
Khai is Vietnamese and has lived in New Zealand for over 40 years as a New Zealand citizen. Khai has run an IT business for 30 years, and more recently has visited Vietnam several times as a successful international marketer. Khai has developed a strong network of schools in the south and the north of Vietnam. She also provides pastoral care and homestay accommodation while students are in New Zealand.
